Good Day to all of you! Today is Day 45 of the 100 Candidates in 100 Days campaign, and a very active Seventh District continues to flourish as we continue to observe the Democratic offerings in this election. Let’s see today how Alan Grayson is doing with his camapign for the Democratic nomination in the primary election before going forward into the general election.
Today’s Candidate: Alan Grayson
Grayson is a seasoned veteran when it comes to time spent on Capitol Hill. He was representative for Florida’s Ninth district for two terms. This means he served from 2013 to 2017 before being succeeded by Representative Darren Soto. Before that, he also represented the Eighth District from 2009 to 2011. His education was completed entirely at Harvard, as his Undergraduate, Ph.D, and Law Degree were all done there
Grayson is currently running as a Democrat, and as such, his positions are closer to the liberal ideology, such as:
Raising the minimum wage
Free education at State Colleges
Expanding the medicare and medicaid programs in order to establish free clinics
