Good day to all of you! Today is Day 41 of the 100 Candidates in 100 Days, and we take our first look at the Democratic side in the Seventh District with their first candidate in Bale Dalton. Let’s see what he has to offer the public of his district, and how he plans to improve the lives of his constituents, so without further ado, let’s get into it.
Today's Candidate: Bale Dalton
Dalton is a first-time candidate and a veteran of the United States Navy after serving for 23 years. After his time in service, he worked under the State Department and for Senator Bill Nelson during his time in Congress.
Nelson is currently entering the race as a Democrat, and as such, his positions line up closely with the liberal ideology, such as:
Instituting Roe v. Wade into federal law to expand abortion rights back into their initial position before the case was overturned in 2022.
Expanding funding for Medicare and Medicaid
Rewrite the tax code to remove so many benefits for the top 1%
