Welcome everybody to Day 6 of the 100 Candidates in 100 Days campaign. Yesterday, we started examining the race for the governor with David Jolly. Today, we extend to the other side of the aisle and look at Byron Donalds, who is one of the front-runners in the race for the Republican nomination on August 18th.
Todays Candidate: Byron Donalds
Donalds has gained some significant experience in politics after being elected for the House of Representatives during 2021 all the way until present day. He has remained one of the most active and vocal members of the house since his election.
Even though he was born in and raised in Brooklyn, New York, he has made Florida his home since the early 2000s when he graduated from Florida State University.

Byron’s current campaign for governor directly aligns with the conservative ideology, meaning he values the protection of traditional values. This is observable in several of his stances, including:
Securing the borders and enforcing immigration law.
Expanding the Floridian economy and reducing taxes on its citizens while focusing current tax revenue on education reform.
Protecting Second Amendment values and taking a pro-life stance on reproductive rights.
Preserve Florida’s environmental integrity
Improve infrastructure
This concludes Day 6! Thank you so much for reading, and stay tuned for Day 7 as we inch ever closer to the primaries in August and the General election in November!
