Good day to all! Today is Day 74 of the 100 Candidates in 100 Days campaign, and today we take a look at the main competitor for the 18th District’s seat when going up against the incumbent, who is currently also running. Now that the primary elections have been completed nice and smoothly, how does Curtis Gibson look heading into the general elections this November? Let’s see:
Today’s Candidate: Curtis Gibson
Surprisingly, Gibson is a first-time candidate for the 18th District, and a first time candidate in general. He has a strong history working within the 18th District’s civilian population to help improve infrastructure as a property manager. He worked as the City Commissioner for the City of Lake Wales.
Gibson is currently running as a democrat, and as such, his positions align loosely with the liberal ideology, with positions such as:
Establishing a federal reinsurance to lower insurance premiums
Rebalance the tax code
Expand the budget for infrastrucure
This concludes Day 74! Thank you very much for reading and staying in touch during the 18th District. Please stay tune as we continue towards the 19th in the next one!
