Good day to everyone! Today is day 24 of the 100 Candidates in 100 Days campaign, and we are soon approaching the final stretch for our coverage of the race for the House in Florida’s Second District. Today we have Evan Power, so without much more fanfare, let’s dive right in:
Today’s Candidate: Evan Power
Even has an incredibly involved history with the Republican party of Florida, as he is actually the Chair for the entire party. He has had extensive time with the president, as he was one of the delegates involved in 2016 to elect Trump at the Republican National Convention as the Republican Nominee for President. As such, his views align very much so with the sitting president.
Power is a longtime member of the Republican Party, and as such, his positions lean into the party and the conservative ideology:
Support Trump in his border security endeavors
cut red tape and lower taxes
put parents in charge of their child’s education
Secure the safety and integrity of elections
