Good day to all! If you can believe it, we are now halfway through the 100 Candidates in 100 Days campaign, as we are now on Day 50. Today we continue with James Pericola on the Democratic ticket for the Eleventh District, so let’s see how he stacks up compared to the rest of his ticket:

Today’s Candidate: James Pericola

Pericola is a first-time candidate but is not unfamiliar with the political sphere or with the legal sphere. During his time in private living, he was a lawyer graduated out of the Catholic University of America. He was also appointed during the Clinton administration to serve as the Special Assistant to the Chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board.

Pericola is currently running on the Democratic platform, which means his positions line up closely with the Liberal ideology, with positions such as:

  • Expanding access to healthcare through the Affordable Care Act

  • Combat housing prices with federal funding

  • passing the John Lewis Voting Rights Act in order to require federal approval before voter redistricing can take place.

This concludes Day 50! To those of you who have been with us the whole way through, thank you. Its been a great first half, and now we move forward with the second half. Have a great rest of your day, and stay tuned for Day 51!
