Hello and welcome to Day 3 of my “100 candidates in 100” days campaign! Today, I’m hoping to give you a quick rundown of the positions and qualifications that Jorge Malavet has decided to base his campaign for the Representative seat on.
Today’s Candidate: Jorge Malavet
Malavet is one of five candidates currently competing for the nomination for the Republican primary. Malavet spent 20 years within the United States navy, serving from 1988 to 2008. After that, he spent a considerable amount of time working with several different agencies, including the DHS and the Animal and Plant Helath Inspection Service.

Malavet is running on the conservative platform. Therefore, his positions align ideologically speaking with values such as:
Transparency within the management of finances in the Federal government
Providing a higher standard for support of veterans and retired service members.
The strengthening of the borders and enforcing immigration law
An emphasis on homeland security
economic growth for his home turf by removing the red tape that limits business and expansion
Promoting the health of small businesses and agriculture
This concludes Day 3 of the 100 Day campaign. I hope you found this, albeit brief, summary of Malavet’s platform useful when considering who you’ll vote for come election season.
Thank you for reading, and please look forward to Day 4 tomorrow!
