Day 4 is now upon us! Slight change of plans as one of 5 candidates (Howard Rance, if anyone is wondering) has announced that he has withdrawn from the race. As such, we move on to the last candidate for the Republican Primary to be held on August 18th: Justin Story.
Today’s Candidate: Justin Story
Justin is very familiar with the 9th District area, as he was born and raised in St. Cloud, Florida. He is a retired U.S. Marine and served as a fighter pilot during his time in the armed forces. Before this step into politics, he had deep roots to the agricultural scene in Central Florida. This is his first time running for office, and has positioned himself as a home-grown pick who looks to uphold family values and integrity in government.
Justin Story has chosen to present himself as a grassroots candidate, and as such, his campaign aligns closely to conservative values, such as:
protecting the nuclear family and limiting government intervention in everyday situation such as education through the bureacracy.
Staunch support for the Second Amendment’s right to bear arms.
Gaining control of the borders while promoting legal immigration.
A smaller government budget and an emphasis on the financial deficit.
Revamping the VA system to better support veterans who are currently suffering from long response times from the VA.
Support for first responders such as firefighters and police officers.
