Good day to all! Today is day 70 of the 100 Candidates in 100 Days campaign, and today we take a look at the Democratic candidate currently in line for the general election happening on November 3rd. So without further ado, let’s see how Kelly Kirschner is holding up:
Today’s Candidate: Kelly Kirschner
Kirscher has a long history with Florida public life. He is a third-generation Floridian and a public servant, as he was once the Mayor of the city of Sarasota. Kirschner was also a member of the peace corps as far back as 1999.
Kirschner is currently running as a Democrat within his term, and as such, his positions line up closely with the liberal ideology, such as:
Close tax breaks and tax loopholes in the code to increase the portion of the load on the upper classes and businesses.
Fully funding Medicare and Medicaid to cover as many people as possible.
Rebalancing the powers of government to limit the role of the president in regards to war-style actions and orders.
