Good Day to all! Today is Day 67 of the 100 Candidates in 100 Days campaign, and we continue forward with the 15th District as the general elections loom ever closer. As we start with a new district, we focus up on the incumbent, who was once again elected by the Republican party in their primary election. Without further ado, then, lets see how she does in representing her district:

Today’s Candidate: Laurel Lee

Lee has spent just shy of two terms in office, which means she started her tenure in 2023, and if not reelected, will expire in 2027. Before her time in Congress, Lee gained extensive experience within the legal field starting with her Law degree from the University of Florida. She then worked as a federal public defender, as an assitant U.S. Attorney, and the clerk for James S. Moody.

Lee is running as the Republican Incumbent, and as such, her values align closely with the conservative ideology:

  • Continuing the Trump Administration’s border policy

  • Growing small businesses by providing more tax cuts and less red tape

  • Increasing care towards veterans

This concludes Day 67! Thank you very much for reading, and soon enough, we shall cover the other side of this election with the democratic candidate for the 15th District. Stay tuned for the next one!
