Good day to all! Apologies for the mix-up after yesterday’s article, but unfortunately the other Democratic candidate will not appear on the general election ballot for the Eighth District, which means coverage of that district is now complete. Naturally, the 9th District should have come next, but since that is my home district, I covered its candidates in the very first days of this series. It’s not a problem, however, as we simply move on to the 10th District instead. Funny enough, this district also only has one candidate right now in Maxwell Frost, so let’s take a look at him before going on to the 11th.

Today’s Candidate: Maxwell Frost

Frost is the current incumbant of the 10th District. He has held the position since 2023, which means he is now searching for his third appointment to the office. He graduated from Valencia College. After that, he has spent his life advocating for various causes, as seen on his campaign website, where he states, “I’ve spent my life as an organizer, fighting for the future we deserve.” He was also the national organizing director for March For Our Lives, which is a gun control movement forwarded by students.

Frost is the Democratic candidate for the 10th District, and as such, his positions are very well aligned with the Liberal ideology, with positions such as:

  • expanding Medicare for all American citizens

  • Expanding gun control by banning the sale of semi-automatic firearms

  • Reforming the justice system to abolish the death penalty, demilitarize the police, and completely decriminalize marijuana

This concludes Day 48! It’s strange to have a race where the incumbent is running unopposed. It’s the first time I’ve covered a candidate in that position. Anyways, my best to the people of the 10th District as they approach voting time, as there seems to only be one option on the ballot.
