Good day to everyone! Today is finally Day 30 of the 100 Candidates in 100 Days campaign. As we finally reach that period where it has been a full month, we continue on with the fourth district and their race for the next Representative in the House with Michael Kirwan.
Today’s Candidate: Michael Kirwan
Kirwan is a first-time candidate in his area, but he has had plenty of experience within the public sector due to his experiences as an attorney and as a Harvard law graduate. His entire career has been engrossed in the business world, with experience handling transactions worth billions between corprations.
Kirwan is running for the Democratic nomination, and as such, his positions line up more towards the left-leaning, or moderately progressive ideology:
Increasing the budget dedicated to social security and medicare
Expanding Reproductive Rights for women
Eliminating excemptions in the tax codes that lower the amount of taxes paid by the top earners in the country
