Good day to all of you! Today is Day 39 of the 100 Candidates in 100 Days campaign. The Sixth District keeps on giving as we take a look at the Democratic Ticket once more and their candidate Robert Cooper. Does he have the mettel to take home the nomination in August? Let’s see:

Today’s Candidate: Robert Cooper

Cooper is a first time candidate to ever run for office. Before deciding to run, however, he ran a nonprofit organization to help incarcerated individuals with their addictions while in jail or prison. Regrettably, he found this passion while also incarcerated in a county jail. He also served in Iraq with the Marines from 1998 to 2008

Cooper is running on the Democratic Ticket. However, it is difficult to pinpoint where his ideological lines lie in terms of his campaign priorities, as they share common ground with both sides of the political spectrum, such as:

  • Build up infrastructure and increase disaster preparedness across the district.

  • Protect seniors and veterans by increasing medical help for both parties through programs such as the VA and Medicaid.

  • Add new safegaurds for workers’ job securiy and promote higher wages.

This concludes Day 39! Thank you for reading, and I hope you have a greater idea of what is happening with your current candidates within the Sixth District. Stay tuned as we finally reach Day 40!
