Good day to all! Today is Day 73 of the 100 candidates in 100 Days campaign, and we’ve finally gotten to the 18th District. It’s funny, now that we’ve gotten to the 18th District, the districts themselves are of age to vote. Now that the 18th District is present, we start by taking a look at the first candidate in this race is incumbent Scott Franklin. So, how does Franklin look going into his next term in office? Let’s see:
Today’s Candidate: Scott Franklin
Scott, as the incumbent, has already served two terms in Congress. Now, he’s vying for a third term. Franklin was a member of the United States Navy from 1984 all the way till 2000. After that, he did another 12 years within the reserves, which meant that he served as a Naval Aviator for 26 years. During his whole time in office Franklin has represented the Republican party as a business owner and the Vice Chair of the Agriculutre, Rural Development, and Food and Drug Administration Subcommittee.

Franklin is currently running for reelection as a Republican, and as such, he is very much aligned with the conservative ideology, with positions such as:
Creating an economic budget that prioritizes free enterprises and minimal red tape.
Protecting 2nd Amendment rights.
Expanding the military through financial support and technological advancements.
This concludes Day 73! Thank you very much for reading and keeping up interest with the 18th District, and please stay tuned for the other half of the 18th District’s race!
