Good day to all! Today is Day 69 of the 100 Candidates in 100 Days campaign, and following a short leave of absence due to life circumstances and responsibilities, we keep moving forward with the 16th District’s race. Today is Sydney Gunters representing the nomination of the Republican party for the seat. So, how does she fair in this race upcoming for November? Let’s see:

Today’s candidate: Sydney Gunters

Gunters and her family has been involved with politics for a considerable amount of time. She worked as District Director for Congressman Greg Steube as far back as 2018, and the year before that, President Trump appointed her for the position of State Director for Florida and the Virgin Islands at the Department of Agricutlure. Her husband is also a part of the RNC as a chairman.

Gunters is running as a Republican, and as such her positions come closely in line with conservative ideological grounds such as:

  • Continuing to work with the President to utulize ICE as a way to deal with immigration.

  • Securing the integrity of elections by applying President Trump’s current standing on regulation and validation of election results

  • Supporting veterans every step of the way when they are out of the armed forces

This concludes Day 69! Thank you very much for reading, and the next time we shall continue the 16th District’s race. It’s good to be back to all of you, and finish up this series with a bang as we finally approach this upcoming election in November. Stay tuned for the next one!
