Good day to all! Today is Day 76 of the 100 Candidates in 100 Days campaign, and we are now wrapping up the coverage of the two candidates representing the major parties within the 19th District of Florida. To finish things off today is Victor Arias for the Democratic party, so let’s see how he stacks up for this upcoming election just a few weeks away in November:
Today’s Candidate: Victor Arias
Arias has a long standing presence in South Florida. He has been a practicing attorney within the area for 35 years. He is well known within his community for his dedication to his areas of service, such as his position as an Elder at his church since 1999, and has also been part of several various organizations and boards to improve his community.
Arias is currently running as a Democrat within the 19th District, and as such, his positions are left-leaning on the political spectrum, with positions such as:
Expanding Medicare price programs and other such medicine-related measures
Working against rising cost of living by combating corporate price gouging
Increasing funding for hurricane prep and infrastructure within the 19th District
This concludes Day 76! Thank you so much for reading and following through with the 19th District, and hopefully you’ll continue with us for the 20th as we get closer and closer to November.
